Serena Welch

Solicitor

Serena qualified as a Solicitor in 1995. She began her career specialising in civil litigation dealing with a wide variety of matters, including Legal Aid,  and went on to specialise in personal injury. She has worked in both high street firms and a national law firm and her experience includes taking on supervisory roles and dealing with complex cases. After 15 years she took a career break from law to focus on her 3 young children, and during that time she worked in a busy pre-school and studied to obtain the relevant pre-school qualification.

Serena joined Pearson Hards in 2016. She is part of the Wealth Management department and specialises in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate. Her caseload consists of approximately 80% Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and 20% probate.

Her wide variety of experience has given Serena the skills needed to be effective in her current role. Here are just a few of the many positive comments about her from her clients:-

“Serena was excellent, helpful, patient and explained things in layman’s terms…we were very happy with her help and advice”

“The whole process was very clear, un-jargoned and pleasant. Serena was very helpful and inspired confidence in me. I’d have no hesitation in returning to Pearson Hards, but especially to Serena”

Outside of work Serena enjoys spending time with her family and is a member of her local Baptist church where she is involved in the youth work.
