Susan Shuttle


Susan started her legal career in 2004, initially as a legal secretary. She then worked as a trainee Legal Executive at another firm in Surrey. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and specialises in private client work, helping clients with preparation of Wills, Probate and Administration of estates, lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.

Susan knows that making a Will can be a daunting experience and helps clients by putting them at ease whilst looking at lifetime estate planning and tax saving measures. Susan understands that when a person passes away it is a very difficult time. She works with clients every step of the way in administering a person's estate. Susan also assists clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts. She appreciates complex legal wording in documents can be overwhelming and ensures this is fully explained and prepared in a way that can be understood, giving peace of mind to her clients

Susan also has a PGCE and is a qualified Assessor. She lectures in many areas of law at Level 3 and Level 6 for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives Qualifications, including the Law of Wills and Succession and Probate at Kingston College. She is also a STEP member. STEP is a professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning and she has passed the STEP Advanced Certificates in the Administration of Trusts and Administration of Estates.

Susan is passionate about animals and in her spare time enjoys walking her dog. Other hobbies include travelling, reading and dancing.
