Sarah Houston


Before joining Pearson Hards and resuming her career in the legal profession, Sarah embarked on a career abroad with the British Council. She was also engaged as recruitment manager at two leading UK law firms and as senior operations and strategy manager at the Head Quarters of a prominent UK building society.

Sarah completed her training contract with Pearson Hards and joined the Family and Children Department as a Solicitor upon qualification in June 2017. She is a dedicated member of Resolution, an organisation of family law professionals who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters.

Sarah is an empathetic communicator, specialising in providing advice across a range of family and matrimonial related issues including divorce and financial resolution, separation, nuptial agreements and private children matters.

Sarah graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Laws before completing the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in York in 2001.

Sarah is married with two young children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid swimmer and cyclist.
