Ian Lipscombe

Ian Lipscombe joined ACS Hards & Co. in 1978 and qualified as a solicitor in 1980, becoming partner a year later.

He brings extensive experience to the firm, specialising in all aspects of Wealth Management and Estate work. As Partner in charge of the Wealth Management department he offers a caring and compassionate ear to people who are often dealing with the difficulty of losing a loved one.

In addition to his current practice, his in-depth knowledge of residential conveyancing, family law and expertise in general dispute resolution means he can offer clients incredibly well rounded legal advice.

Outside of work, Ian used to be the chairman of his local cricket club and was very heavily involved in the Fullers Brewery Surrey County Cricket League which organises cricket across Surrey. Ian now enjoys watching cricket from the comfort of his sofa or the sidelines of the pitch when he gets the chance.

Ian is an active amateur singer. He currently runs the band at his local church, but his vocal history is something really quite memorable – as part of a choir involved in many recordings for film and other media, he appeared at the Barbican Theatre backing 1960s group Procal Harum with the London Symphony Orchestra!
