A new era for Pearson Hards

Pearson Hards are delighted to announce that they have taken on their first trainee.  Although Pearson Maddin had taken on trainees in the past, this is a first for the amalgamated firm of Pearson Maddin and ACS Hards.  Sarah Houston initially joined us in February as David Hards' assistant, but soon showed the firm that her past professional experience and personal qualities were exactly what the firm were looking for in a trainee.  The firm were delighted to offer her a training contract beginning on 1 June 2015.

Sarah Huston begins her first assignment in the Commercial Department, working closely with David Hards and Donald Morrison. Sarah originally studied law at university in Sheffield and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. She briefly worked for a global law firm in the City before embarking on a career with the British Council abroad.  Later she moved into a role as recruitment manager for two leading UK law firms.  Before joining Pearson Hards LLP, Sarah was most recently engaged as a senior operations and strategy manager at the HQ of a leading UK building society, before electing to resume her career in the legal profession.

Sarah is local to the New Malden area, living in Berrylands with her husband and two young children.  Sarah says "I am excited to be given this opportunity to work for a firm that I have known locally for years and I really look forward to gaining experience in the different departments that the firm has to offer".
